Smart Charging Management for Public Areas
Customer Profile: Y Residential Complex Management – A non-OZEV-licensed management team aiming to install EV charging stations in a large housing complex in Istanbul.
Current Situation: Y Residential Complex wanted to provide EV charging services to its residents, but did not have a license to sell electricity. Tracking electricity consumption, ensuring fair usage, and covering maintenance costs were major concerns.
Click&Plug Solution: The site management adopted Click&Plug's Shared Area Management model. In this model, electricity is not sold through the system, but users are granted access via RFID cards or a mobile app, and each user's energy consumption is tracked. The system also offered the management the flexibility to pay a fixed monthly management fee per socket.
